Over 15 years ago in an old church building that the Christchurch earthquakes later destroyed, and in a house in Cashmere, a bunch of songs were recorded by Chris Spark, who had recently finished up as the drummer of the Christchurch and Sydney based rock band, degrees.K.
The words of these songs reflected the radically transformed way Chris saw things when he looked around and looked at himself in light of his faith in Jesus Christ. The music reflected his varied musical influences and was driven by the intense energy that was the essential ingredient in his drumming.
The album was never mixed or released. Now it is finally being completed under the artist name SPARK.
